EAA 690 Veterans November 2018
We had a decent turnout for our mothly chapter meeting, and I want to thank everyone that came out. I believe everyone enjoyed hearing all the stories and experiences of those who've served this great country.

Celebration of Veterans:
We would like to celebrate the stories, lives, and sacrifices made for our country by our fellow chapter members and guests. We encourage those that can to wear their uniform (or parts of it) and if desired to tell some stories. We'll have cookies, cake and ice cream, and hope to have the Boy Scouts post the colors. Also, we'll have our veteran's scrapbook on hand for show and tell. If you have pictures you'd be willing to contribute to the collection, we would love to share them.
At the Oct. 12th chapter meeting, the membership voted to approve the changes to the bylaws as suggested by the board of directors. As a result of this change, the November chapter meeting, which would have been held on Nov. 9, 2018, will instead be held on Thursday Nov. 8, 2018 evening starting at 7pm. The Thursday meeting day/time is a trial to see if it works out to be a better time.
The Christmas party, which historically has been held on the 2nd Friday in December, will instead be on the 3nd Saturday (Dec. 15, 2018).
