This Saturday, December 1st, EAA 690 will host Mr. William Etheridge. Bill, a Chapter 690 member, began his aviation career in the early ’60’s as an Aerospace Specialist, Product Manager and International Marketing Manager personally covering Lockheed Georgia, Grumman Aerospace, Avco Aero Structures and McDonald Douglas. In these capacities he worked on the F-15 NATO fighter, the French and British Concord SST and for seven years for Rockwell International on the B-1 bomber and Space Shuttle tooling.
As part of his presentation, Bill will is donating a picture of the US-SST to our Chapter that was presented to him and to his company by Boeing Aerospace in Seattle, Washington.
If you have any interest in being part of the RV-12 flying club it is very important that you make yourself known by contacting Brian Michael, Randy Epstein or John Post. The Chapter would like to finish the project and have it flying by Chapter members. If this does not come to fruition the project will be offered for sale in its current condition.
